Healthy lunch box recipe under 20 minutes | Spinach Rice | கீரை பருப்பு சாதம்

It is always healthy to add greens in your diet. Spinach rice is the best way to make kids eat their greens without hassle and it’s yummy too.

Rice – 1 cup
Toor dal – 1/3 cup
Spinach – 2 cups chopped
Green chilli – 4-5(As per spice level)
Small onion – 10
Garlic – 4 cloves
Coconut – 1/2 cup
cumin seeds – 1 tsp
turmeric powder – about 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder – optional

For seasoning
oil – 3 tbsp
mustard seeds – 1 tsp
urad dal – 1 tsp
dried red chilli – 2
hing/asafoetida – a generous pinch
curry leaves – 10
ghee – 2 to 3 tbsp
