Low Blood Sugar

Glucose, a simple sugar, is a key source of energy for the body. Hormones in the body keep the glucose levels in check. When these hormones do not function properly & the sugar level in the body falls below 70 mg/dL, the condition is referred to as low blood sugar or hypoglycemia.

Symptoms to look for:

• Dizziness
• Confusion
• Anxiety
• Excessive sweating

Causes:

• Sugar level in body drop to 70mg/dL

Food groups to consume in low blood sugar:

1. Sugar: Increases sugar level in body

Foods to consume: Fruit juices, sweet soda or plain sugar

2. Fiber: Regulates blood sugar levels

Foods to consume: Fruits, nuts, salads & sprouts

Recipes based on the above food groups:

Recipe 1: Apple & grape juice

1. Take a bunch of black grapes
2. Also, take 2 chopped apples
3. Put these together in a juicer
4. Collect the juice in a glass
5. In your juice, add 1 tsp sugar
6. Your fruit juice is ready to drink

Have this juice anytime of the day to keep those sugar levels up

Recipe 2: Mango cubes

1. Take 1 mango
2. Remove its peel
3. Cut it into small slices
4 Put it in a grinder to get mango pulp
To this pulp,
5. Add 2 tsp of powdered sugar
6. Put this mixture in ice cube molds & put it in a freezer

Eat these mango cubes whenever you feel dizzy or feel that your sugar level is dipping
